Rangers Win 5 In A Row

On Saturday November 7, the Rangers extended their win streak to 5 in a row when they defeated the Coyotes  4-1. The Rangers seem to be responding well after last season's devastating loss to the Lightning in the conference finals. Right wing Mats Zuccarello, and center Oscar Lindberg lead the Rangers with 11 points each, while goalies Henrik Lundqvist and Antti Raanta are doing outstanding work in net with only 22 goals allowed in 14 games. If they keep it up, they might have a chance to capture their first cup in 21 years. Here is a list of their winning streak:

Royals Beat Mets In World Series

Yesterday, the Royals made a miraculous comeback in the 9th inning to send the game into extras. In the top of the 12th inning, the Royals scored 5 runs that the Mets couldn't match in the bottom half, and the Royals topped the Mets and won the World Series. After pitching an outstanding game, Matt Harvey stayed in the game in the 9th and Lorenzo Cain got on base. Then Eric Hosmer hit a double that scored Cain. 2 Batters later with Hosmer on third, Salvador Perez grounded out, but Hosmer scored. That tied the game at 2 and The Mets couldn't win it in the ninth. In the 12th inning, The royals scored 5 runs. In the bottom of the 12th, Royals pitcher Wade Davis strikes out the Met's Wilmer Flores to win. It was the Royals first world series win in 30 years.
